Hi all, been awhile. I'm having Gambler's ship out the decks that would be part of the brick boxes. THe bricks boxes themselves are not ready. And expedited it costs funds that would have long run out. So instead I'm having every 'brick' of decks upgraded with a dynastinae, a legacy and a prototype deck (the last of the wjpc prototypes--not the cartamundi ones which were the ones in the proto tier). Then I'm having that package of decks, sans the brick box itself, sent out to each who ordered it. Note that when the boxes are finally ready, I will send them out flattened to each person. But I've been taking a beating in the comments section from a few very loud folks and frankly I'm tired of it.

If I could I would refund everyone, but that would cost about $16k. In the end, this solution instead will have cost me an additional $3400 out of pocket (on top of the potential earnings of the substituted decks. I hope it's acceptable. And I'm sorry for not communicating sooner.

Hi all, I was hoping to have better news for you all then I currently do. Unfortunately there is water damage on some of the brick boxes (similar thing happened with the uncut sheets). I only ordered a limited supply--enough to fulfill the rewards. SO I am reprinting the brick boxes. So unfortunately there is more delay on this. 

To make up for this, as I mentioned, I am offering a very special gift. Everyone who is still owed a Brick Box will receive a WJPC Prototype Beetlebacks deck cellophaned and a random flat tuck box. These differ from the 33 Cartamundi Prototypes that were offered during the campaign. Those have a hand numbered seal and are cellophaned in the Blue/Red Combo Tuck box that was originally set aside for the Marked Version that was NEVER PRODUCED. These WJPCC proto decks will come cellophaned but without tuck. The tuck will be randomly assigned and flat so backers who receive it can put the box together and store their prototype inside them if desired. See the image below.
 

I was initially planning on keeping these decks in a special reserve--but I think it makes MUCH more sense as a peace offering to brick box backers.
 

Once again, I'm very sorry for the extremely delay on this. This fulfillment has been an absolute nightmare that backers DEFINITELY do not deserve. I've continued to learn valuable lessons with this. Some that were implemented with the Parlour Royale release--which were in customer hands merely WEEKS after the campaign closure.
 

One a more positive note: Please visit the amazing project by Lorenzo G. The Odd Fellows by Stockholm17! Its a beautiful and hilarious take on playing cards!

Brick Box Update

Hi all, just a quick message to let all the brick box backers know I'm still working to get those out to you asap. More than likely in September, just based on what Gambler's has in queue. HOWEVER, I also wanted to mention that everyone who ordered a brick box will get a special gift with their order from me and I think you'll be pleased! Hopefully it will make the delay worth the wait!

Hello Backers!

Wanted to share a quick update with you and also to remind you that today at Noon eastern Lorenzo G. and I will be hosting a livestream in anticipation of the launch of the Parlour Royale playing cards!

All of the decks are ready and printed (a lesson learned from the Beetle Backs) and will be fulfilled immediately upon receipt of the campaign funds!
 

Brick Boxes Update

I'm being told that the Beetle Backs Brick Boxes are still in assembly but we expect them to be out for fulfillment very soon, probably in early September. Once again, I appreciate the patience! Here are some images of the constructed box!
 

Questions regarding seals

I've received a lot of questions regarding the lack of seals on the Beetle Backs decks. Regretfully Indeed there are no stickers. The final stickers did not live up to expectations and rather than cheapen the product with something that didn’t look good we came to decision to omit them. And truth be told rather than spending additional funds to reprint labels we instead invested in the gold foil and black borders seen on the legacy and prestige editions which if you recall ended up being a stretch goal that was not met by the campaign's end. These decks will never be reprinted and the edition sizes are actually smaller than they were announced in the end. Regardless, this was a painful lesson that I learned during the Beetle Backs campaign. Along with all of the other pitfalls we faces, it has made me rethink how to handle campaigns in the future so that these inconsistencies NEVER happen again. I apologize for any disappointment and lack of communication. I hope you will allow me to begin to earn your trust again with the Parlour Royale--it is one of the PRINCIPAL reasons we opted to print the decks in advance of the campaign. I did NOT want backers to experience any length of wait after the campaign ended.

Fulfillment UNDERWAY!

Hi backers! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I have good news to report.  Beetle Backs are being fulfilled as I type this! Some of you may have already received shipping notices. Be on the look out!

Regarding the Mixed Bricks. Since these have to be assembled and cellophaned and I did not want to delay fulfillment any more than I had to already the bricks will be delivered a little later. The additional shipping charge will be 100% absorbed by the campaign.
