Hello Backers!

Wanted to share a quick update with you and also to remind you that today at Noon eastern Lorenzo G. and I will be hosting a livestream in anticipation of the launch of the Parlour Royale playing cards!

All of the decks are ready and printed (a lesson learned from the Beetle Backs) and will be fulfilled immediately upon receipt of the campaign funds!
 

Brick Boxes Update

I'm being told that the Beetle Backs Brick Boxes are still in assembly but we expect them to be out for fulfillment very soon, probably in early September. Once again, I appreciate the patience! Here are some images of the constructed box!
 

Questions regarding seals

I've received a lot of questions regarding the lack of seals on the Beetle Backs decks. Regretfully Indeed there are no stickers. The final stickers did not live up to expectations and rather than cheapen the product with something that didn’t look good we came to decision to omit them. And truth be told rather than spending additional funds to reprint labels we instead invested in the gold foil and black borders seen on the legacy and prestige editions which if you recall ended up being a stretch goal that was not met by the campaign's end. These decks will never be reprinted and the edition sizes are actually smaller than they were announced in the end. Regardless, this was a painful lesson that I learned during the Beetle Backs campaign. Along with all of the other pitfalls we faces, it has made me rethink how to handle campaigns in the future so that these inconsistencies NEVER happen again. I apologize for any disappointment and lack of communication. I hope you will allow me to begin to earn your trust again with the Parlour Royale--it is one of the PRINCIPAL reasons we opted to print the decks in advance of the campaign. I did NOT want backers to experience any length of wait after the campaign ended.

Hi backers! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I have good news to report.  Beetle Backs are being fulfilled as I type this! Some of you may have already received shipping notices. Be on the look out!

Regarding the Mixed Bricks. Since these have to be assembled and cellophaned and I did not want to delay fulfillment any more than I had to already the bricks will be delivered a little later. The additional shipping charge will be 100% absorbed by the campaign.

Hi all, thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

We are closer than ever to finally having the decks in your hands. The pallet of Beetle Backs has arrived at Gambler's Warehouse and the decks are being counted and processed. I suspect the fulfillment should start as soon as Gambler's can schedule it. 

A note on the 33 prototype decks... they were hand numbered by me and then cellophaned. We used the combination red/blue tuck case (originally intended for the marked deck that never came to fruition). So if you managed to snag one you should be excited!

Hi all, first of all, I'd like to apologize for not updating everyone sooner. I wanted to wait until I had more concrete information but alas many have suggested that any update is better than no update. Having said that I can inform you that I am going to be fulfilling Beetlebacks myself (due to issues with WJPC eroneously shipping the decks to my personal home rather than Gamber's Warehouse). This does have some small ramifications. For one thing the process will be a bit slower than usual--the good news though is that fulfillment will begin the week of 5/26. The intermitent week will be so that backers have a chance to double check their delivery info. 

On that note, please check your emails so that we can lock the addresses. Thanks again for your patience and understanding. 

Final Hiccups Before Fulfillment!

Hi all! I know many of you must be wondering where things are with Beetlebacks... here's an update.

We've encountered a few inconveniences. For one thing, due to a mix up with WJPC the decks were shipped to my HOME rather than Gambler's Warehouse. I currently have 55 boxes of Beetle Backs in my dining room. This is less than ideal. Additionally JC of Studio Pression was recently ill and the brick boxes were not ready until recently. They are currently one the way to me so that I can pack and cellophane the bricks. I'm still trying to ascertain whether I will fulfill the decks myself or ship them to Gambler's Warehouse for a non insignificant amount of money. 

The good news: The decks are in MY POSSESSION. Which means they will be in yours shortly. I will update again when I have more info. Secondly, the decks look spectacular and I can't wait for everyone to get them. ANd the brick boxes look spectacular too!

Trust that no one wants this project to be completed more than I do. I have 2 deck projects on HOLD until this is finished so It's affecting my business immensely. Have faith and patience please. Thank you so much.
